So called "berlock". A very refined piece of jewellery showing a high class granulation technique. Similar pendant found at Fevang in Vestfold.Made about 200-300 years A.D. The lower part of the "berlock" made as earrings. Diameter: 7 mm David-Andersen AS is a Norwegian jeweler company, probably the best known, and with a reputation for quality design and craftsmanship. It was established in 1876 by jeweler David Andersen and still exists. jewelry from D-A are very popular collectibles.

It was established in 1876 by jeweler David Andersen and still exists. A really beautiful piece of Jewelry in the Saga series. Exceptionally rich filgrane works and entwined animal heads makes for rich look.

David-Andersen Saga. Large 925s sterling silver ring. Found in a woman’s grave from about 300 years A.D., and was probably the property of a Lady of noble birth. Found at Vik in Sogn.
