The only difference is the origin and price. The technical term for EX3 created diamonds is chemical vapor deposition (CVD). EX3 created diamonds are man-made diamonds which consist of actual carbon atoms arranged in the characteristic diamond crystal structure. Diamond simulants, such as cubic zirconia and moissanite, are diamond look-alikes and are not true carbon crystals.
